Teacher Enrichment Program (Programa de Auxílio ao Professor)
Teachers in many of the disenfranchised areas have limited resources and access to materials to enrich their lessons. The Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) helps teachers in Brazil enrich the instruction they provide to their students.
The Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) provides small grants designed to help teachers implement instruction that furthers students’ learning experiences. We support activities and lessons that are academically rigorous, develop a print-rich environment, and/or motivate students.
Furthermore, our volunteers help to support teachers from the pre-application to post-application process.

What is your wish list? What does you school or program need?
The Blessings Bank: Special Collections
The Blessings Bank is our collection of goods for Brazilian schools. The items we collect are then shipped to Brazilian schools. These items include teaching materials, books, clothing, musical instruments, and toys. These materials allow us to help teachers and schools reach the needs of their students without worrying about what they do not have. If there is a special request, we work to find the needed item. See what we have done here.
If you are a teacher who could use our help, email us here.
If you would like to help a Brazilian teacher, email us with the material you would like to donate and your location here (Please note: presently we can travel to the New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut areas)..
We accept consumable items such as: pencils, crayons, construction paper, rulers, ruled paper, world maps, protractors, chart paper, and other instructional/teaching materials.
We are unable to accept textbooks or books in English unless they are dual-language dictionaries (English/Portugese). Please note that satisfactory condition is preferred. We are unable to take items that have water damage, are discolored, or in unsatisfactory condition.
Dollar Store Project
We also find cost-effective materials in local dollar stores that can be used to improve classroom practices. They include dictionaries, musical instruments, art supplies, and other items that can enhance learning in a variety of areas. We search for these items and send them to those who could use them most in Brazil. These items are added to the materials included in the collection bank. We invite you to search your local dollar store for consumable instructional items to donate to Brazilain schools in need.
