Volunteer Agreement
By completing and submitting this form to Blessings for Brazil, you understand and agree to the following:
- I will conduct all volunteer activities with high standards, professionalism, and good taste, and will do nothing to cause detriment to the reputation or goodwill of Blessings for Brazil.
- I understand that Blessings for Brazil is registered as a Non-Porfit Corporation in New York State and a 501(c)3 with the Federal Government.
- All information collected and used to raise funds and market Blessings for Brazil is private. It is understood that information is private and not used outside of the Blessings for Brazil (B4B) project (Blessings for Brazil, Inc.).
- Prior to collecting funds for Blessings for Brazil, I need to speak with the Executive Director or other member of the board.
- Volunteers can end their work with Blessings for Brazil at any time via email or letter.
- Blessings for Brazil can remove volunteers from active to in-active or supporters at any time.
- I declare the information provided by me in this form is true, correct and complete, and intend to be legally bound by its terms.
- By signing a physical form or clicking “I agree” (on the website), you declare that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this agreement.
- I have not been arrested and/or convicted of any crime.
- If Blessings for Brazil (B4B) determines, in its sole discretion, that a fundraiser or related activities could injure the goodwill or reputation of “B4B”, B4B may terminate this Agreement immediately. Upon the expiration or sooner termination of fundraiser, I shall discontinue using the Blessings for Brazil (B4B) name and logo and all materials that reference that reference the fundraiser or event.
As a registered volunteer for Blessings for Brazil (B4B) and for all volunteer related events and activities, you do hereby discharge Blessings for Brazil, the event site, their management, officers, board members, members, sponsors, volunteers, representatives and their successors, and all cooperating businesses and organizations, from all claims of damages, demands, actions and causes whatsoever in any manner arising from or growing out of your participation in any Blessings for Brazil activity, event or fundraiser.
As a volunteer, you agree to indemnify and hold Blessings for Brazil harmless for all fines, penalties, fees and expenses incurred as a result of or related to any breach of contractual obligation to the participant.
We like to support and nurture our volunteers.
To do so, we limit the number of volunteers we accept within a quarter.
There is a 4-step process for volunteering with us.
- Complete the volunteer form.
- Respond to the post-registration form email.
- Interview (Opportunity for both applicants and B4B to discuss the project and interest).
- Post inteview email, either confirming our position as a volunteer or suggestions for the future.
How to successfully complete this form?
Blessings for Brazil is professional, but not formal. We seek to get to know you and not just what your resume states. That is why we do not ask for your resume. Please take your time and complete this form in a way that shows your personality, interests in joining our team, and distinctive skills or characteristics that we should know about you.

Please note:
We strive to provide adequate support for our volunteers. We receive a pool of applicants, but are limited to the number we can accept at any given time. We seek to make sure we are supporting our volunteers so they can be successful as their work on their various tasks. Therefore, if you are unable to become a volunteer at this time, know that it is due to our commitment to support all volunteers within our community.
