Why I Volunteer?
I can say that I am happier after finding B4B (Blessings for Brazil), which is composed of people who are interested and motivated to do something for these kids. We work hard to come up with ideas, projects, and events. We do this to help improve schools in Brazil and try to give these kids a new kind of life.
I feel lucky to be a part of it.

What is cost for a raffle ticket?
Each raffle ticket starts at $20 and increases incrementallty by $10 each ticket. Raffle tickets can be purchased in person through anyone of our registered volunteers. Also, any individuals who make a donation from June 14th onwards will be automatically enrolled into the raffle. Upon the recent of the donation, the donor will receive an email with the raffle ticket numbers.
How can someone participate in this raffle?
Raffle tickets can be purchased in person through anyone of our registered volunteers. Also, any individuals who make a donation from June 14th onwards will be automatically enrolled into the raffle. Upon the recent of the donation, the donor will receive an email with the raffle ticket numbers. A minimum donation of $20 is required. Every $10 donated will result in raffle ticket.
For example:
$20 = 2 raffle tickets
$30 = 3 raffle tickets
$40 = 4 raffle tickets
$50 = 5 raffle tickets and so on.
How much are the taxes for the tickets?
Blessings for Brazil is happy to encourage donation through a fun and exciting raffle prize; however, it is important to know that are able unable to specify the cost of the taxes. On average, the cost of taxes may include $50-$70, but depends upon the value of the trip.
Does somone have to purchase a raffle ticket in person?
No, an individual can participate in this raffle by making an online donation.
When will the winner be announced?
Our goal is to raise at least $4,000 with this fundraiser. Hopefully, through the help of supporters such as yourself, we hope to reach this goal by December. We will work to reach this goal sooner than later. We will announce the winner via email, the Blessings for Brazil website, and/or our Facebook page. This fundraiser will end when we have reached the minimum of at least $4,000.
How long will the winner have to use the 25,000 miles?
The winner will have six months from the annoucement to use the miles.
Is the donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Blessings for Brazil is a 501(c)3.
Is an airline affliated with this fundraiser?
This raffle is not affliated with any airline. The frequent flyers will be transferred from our founder's account to the winner for his or her use.
