How will this seminar help me?
This seminar is designed to help individuals who have thought about creating a Non-Profit Organization (NPO), but have no idea how to begin. The seminar will provide the attendees with valuable information and help them learn about resources that are available for NPOs. The benefit of attending this seminar is that the Founder and Executive Director of Blessings for Brazil has pooled together all the information she has acquired to help others with a desire to be of service.
How long is the seminar?
The seminar is approximately two to three hours long. Each seminar depends on the number of individuals and their needs. The seminar is designed to help provide participants with time to work on aspects of their NPO plan and time to ask questions.
If I attend this seminar, will I definitely meet all the requirements to receive a 501(c)3 status?
This seminar does not gurantee that attendees with receive the IRS charitable status; however, individuals will learn of some of the requirements, obligations, and other issues that one may need to consider in the process of applying for the status.
Why does Blessings for Brazil charge for this seminar?
This seminar will be conducted to aid others in forming a non-profit. There are various costs associated with providing the seminar, which requires us to charge a fee. Each participant will receive a copy of the book "Thinking about forming a non-profit?" by Lauri A. Francis, which will be the basis of the seminar. Costs to attend this seminar will not be tax-deductible, but a percentage of the fee will be donated by the facilitator to Blessings for Brazil. The founder of Blessings for Brazil designed this seminar to be informative, and individuals will receive important information, while helping to improve the lives of Brazilian children.
Do I have to be in New York City to attend the seminar?
No, you do not. Although we prefer to provide face to face seminars, Blessings for Brazil understands that there are those who are interested in learning more outside of the New York/New Jersey/ Connecticut area. If you are interested in participating in a seminar, please contact us at info@blessings4brazil.com to learn more. We can set up a tele-conference seminar in certain cases. This option varies, yet feel free to contact us to learn more.
How can I pay the fee associate with the seminar?

Is Paypal.com the only way to pay the seminar fee?
At the present time, paypal.com is the only way to pay the fee.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No, the registration is not refundable; however, you can reschedule a seminar. All we need is notice at least 14 days prior to the seminar date. We can reschedule the seminar for another time within the 30-day period of the notice. To reschedule an attendance, please email us at info@blessings4brazil.com..
